In the seventh season, J.D. (Zach Braff) and Elliot (Sarah Chalke) still struggle with unresolved feelings for each other, despite their respective commitments to Kim (guest star Elizabeth Banks) and Keith (Travis Schuldt). Elsewhere, the Janitor (Neil Flynn) has a new girlfriend, the unusually named Lady (Kit Pongetti), and Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins) faces forced retirement when word breaks that he's 65 years old.

It feels like it's time. Maybe even a little past time.

The writers' strike cost a lot of shows the ability to wrap up their seasons seamlessly and Scrubs was one of those. Scrubs was still able to pull out a good, sometimes great, season thanks to the writers keeping the spirit of the show intact.
