Tv Season Info

In the third season, J.D. (Zach Braff) puts his feelings for Elliot (Sarah Chalke) on the back burner and has a fling with Dr. Cox's (John C. McGinley) wild sister-in-law, Danni Sullivan (guest star Tara Reid). Elliot, meanwhile, revamps her look and begins a romance with handsome animal trainer Sean Kelly (guest star Scott Foley), while Turk (Donald Faison) and Carla (Judy Reyes) plan their wedding. Notable patients checking in to Sacred Heart this season include Nicole Sullivan as an upbeat woman whose troubles run deeper than they appear, and Brendan Fraser as Dr. Cox's brother-in-law and good friend, who's battling leukemia.

The show's third season is another prime example of what makes Scrubs so compelling. It's one of the few series on television that can so delicately handle issues of love, life and loss while also pulling off an "I.P. Freely" joke

There's a bit more General Hospital in the show now than when it first premiered as an offbeat and highly original comedy. But the writing and acting are still top-notch.
