Smart fridge; dumb movie.
This is really a filmmaker who could care less about what we think, though his outré humor is never mean-spirited and actually somewhat convivial in the end, if also rather tiresome.
Raises the level of arbitrariness until it is immersed fully in the grotesque. [Full review in Spanish]
Expect a long run on the festival circuit, as a film that lives up to the surreal ingenuity of its premise in the way Yves does truly needs to be seen to be believed.
The premise is splendid and the execution cordially over the top although the venture wears out its welcome before the end.
