Kill or be killed is the golden rule of the Game of Death. Sucks for seven millennials who ignored that rule. Now each one's head will explode unless they kill someone. Game Of Death's playful tone does land some absurdist laughs, but attempts to reconcile the film's ironic distance from its pervasive bloodshed and the serious moral conflict produced by the game's rules land with a splat.
